This site is built to collect as little as possible. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not ask for or store personal information.

Any analytics used are privacy-respecting and cookieless: they record aggregate, non-identifying usage (such as which pages are viewed) to help us prioritize which states to cover and to catch broken links. They do not build a profile of you or sell data.

If we later add features that process personal data — for example, email alerts when a state’s law changes — this page will be updated before that feature goes live, and any such data will be used only for the purpose you provided it.
